Reply If this car is for sale, contact me. Reply Cool car. My grandfather had a ’69 XL Sportsroof, Bright Blue Metallic with white vinyl top and interior with buckets and console with "U-bar" shifter. I always loved that car, especially the wrap-around "Flight-Cockpit Instrument Panel." FYI this car is not a Galaxie. It is an XL. It was a separate model 1968-1970. The calling cards of the XL were bucket seats and console, but in later years the bench became standard and the XL's signature bucket seats with console became an option. Reply The Torino fastback's big brother. Reply Deduct 3000 for the exhaust Reply I had a’68 lime green XL 390 with black roof as a senior in HS 1971. Too much car, too much gas and too many payments. Good looking car though. Reply this was my first car, in 1971….i'm aching to have it again….same color, etc… Reply Wow, that car is beautiful. The exhaust tips need to go. Reply I bought one exactly like this one in 1969 .Sadly about 6 months later I was hit head on and the car was totaled. Reply That car has no engine! The front of it is way too high Reply Suggestion, lose the music. Nice car but I would rather go to another website where they talk about the car and put you in the passenger seat along for a test ride to see how it handles and sounds, as if you were at the dealership. This one I had to fast forward or keep it on mute which I can get just as much from a picture. Reply They may be original equipment, but the skinny wheels and hubcaps were meant to be discarded and replaced with wheels and tires that can handle a big fast motorcar. Reply Cool Reply LEAVE YOUR COMMENT Cancel replyYour email address will not be published. Required fields are marked * Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
