My 2019 Canyon with moderate load and a camper gets around 26mpg (US) at 75 to 80 mph. General all around city type (20 miles to shopping) is usually just under 23mpg. My 2020 Canyon gets less mpg (2 or more).
And also what I got from the review was that the other two trucks were cheaper, had better gas mileage, more comfortable, and have more towing and payload, but instead chose the Tacoma, because it's "trucky". Lol okay….
i just bought the Canyon 2021, love it. I tested the FORD, the interior looks like a 2012 Ford Focus, too outdated for my taste. The Toyota was way over priced. Sorry, but in the end, you get way more for your money with the Canyon than Toyota or Ranger….The Ford engine is suppose to be better, but you are paying so much for a midsize and so much is outdated. And Toyota Truck? so not American…Trucks have to be pure American…sorry it's just the way I was raised. Like Hi Tech Sports Cars are Italian, Sedans are German, Trucks should be American.
i just test drove a Tacoma. Was VERY disappointed with the acceleration. When I hit the gas pedal on the V6 engine, there was a hesitation that made the truck extremely unsatisfying to drive.
Fuck that I dont buy a truck for fuel economy if i fuel economy buy a car. Ive own full size and i hate when people say i get it because it has the best fuel economy. Ive always bought v8 or ecoboost i want power over fuel economy
It has a crap transmission. I had a 2017 SR it can't make up it's mind on a flat road. So I got rid of mine, Bought a Ranger with 10 speed transmission
And Dodge stopped making the Dakota. The Ford has a very good off road package on it. It will out run the Tacoma, the transmission is a big problem on the road because it shifts up and down
10,000 to 20,000 more for a Chevy or Tacoma over the Ranger is ridiculous. I've owned three Tacomas in the last few years and bought the Ranger. It blows the doors off either of the other two.
Reliability. Sorry but not In the Tacoma. If you owned one you would know. Terrible transmission. Sealed and not serviceable. Slips and torgue converter fails. Toyota is not as reliable as you may think. Plus it’s priced much too high for what you get. Motor is fine but lacking in torgue big time

We're not going rock climbing. Didn't know trucks can rock climb
Typical canadian gnome people. What do they put in the water there?

You could buy two base model rangers for a Toyota Tacoma. I'm not paying 56k for a midsized truck. Good lord.
the lady in this video looks like she gives the best hugs
Nice trucks. Insufferable commentary.
that conclusion was a little surprising based on their comments while driving.
Can I use the Ranger to carry a Lite truck camper of 1190lbs ?

I haven't tried the Canyon or the Ranger yet…
These guys a way to scripted.
I’d take the tacoma anyday. That thing looks beautiful

Tacoma isn't worth the extra $20,000.
Driving around with my 2005 4×4 Quad Larramie with 50K miles still happy
Front of the Ford Ranger looks like a car or mini van….
Migraine inducing light flickering as you try to follow along. What a shame, a well resources and informed video ruined by amateur camera work…..

No era gmc sierra??

Resale and reliability- Tacoma and it’s not even close.
Ford number 1

LET'S BE REAL HERE, ONLY THE TACOMA TRD BEATS THE OTHER OUT OF THE FIELDS!!
TOYOTA TACOMA ALL THE WAY! RELIABLITY AND RESALE VALUE! THE BEST OUT THERE AND THAT'S FACT! THESE OTHER TO TRUCKS WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED AND BROKEN!
