  1. I think I'm more excited for this car than any car I've owned before. A decade-long dream fulfilled!!!

  2. It always bugs me when people who don't have a german accent say Porsche as two syllables. It's like people without a german accent saying my name like the W is a V. That's how you say it in german, not in english.

  3. Never noticed one of these as a kid in Germany, but I really like the bodywork design. Especially in this color it looks really neat.

  4. Interior is basically an Audi 90 Quattro…I believe that was called "pelican" blue at one time, legendary wagon

  5. And I thought I was crazy paying $40,000 for a 25 year old Nissan (GT-R) 4 years ago – your fault, by the way. Love your passion, man!

  6. Just love your videos Doug, but love this car even more! My only gripe with the video.. SHUT UP FOR A MINUTE and share more of that signature Audi 5 cylinder growl!! I sat watching wondering if you were going to elaborate on it a little. Gorgeous car buddy and congratulations! Many happy and safe miles with your infectious smile

  7. The fact that the DEALER never heard of the RS2 is proof they are not even true fans of the cars they sell. One of the most legendary Audis ever.

  8. Aren't Audi and Porsche both owned by Volkswagen, and were in the 90s as well? Why is it such a big deal that they worked together, if they shared the same parent company?

  9. I own a regular Audi 80 B4 and I can tell that it's really reliable and parts ain't that much of a problem since I'm from EU, in fact many things from Passats and Golfs from that era fit, and there are loads of them here. My 50 cents about handling & comfort, altough mine obviously isn't RS2 – it's a really comfortable car with a pretty soft suspension, ride is very nice but not really sharp and it's a bit front heavy due to longitudinal engine and FWD so it tends to understeer. Anyways, great car!

  10. The "6 heat" setting is for all you pansy chumps "eh, it's too cold!!!"

"Oh. That's how it is? Let me turn it to 6…."

  11. Being able to use the radio with ignition off was a very common thing in VAG cars of that time.

  12. I just love how this is a much Audi as it is Porsche, hence why I like thinking of it as "Audi/Porsche RS2 Avant" kinda like the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren!

  13. To all of those fellow Doug fans, most people who work at dealerships are generally Chad Bro Chills who know generally close to zero about the actual cars they are selling. They will get general instructions from the dealer on how to deal with customers or direct them elsewhere. Prime example. I have a warranty on my wheels / tires and took my vehicle to get them rotated and balanced as one should every 5k miles. The gentleman working at the dealership asked me, "Why would you want to do this?" I blankly stared at him and drove away. Speak to professionals. Also, just go to Discount Tire or something similar for wheels and tires.

  14. Hey Doug! Thanks for the video on your car, it's dream material for myself as well. I collect and sell Diecast online and just wanted to let you know that Hot Wheels has an absolutely gorgeous casting of this same car and color. Take care
