Reply Poor millipede covered in a sand storm. 🙂 Reply Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be bannedfrom public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia 🙁 In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuelpumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute…From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too….as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils…California and New York will do the same from 2027 on…. So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer….They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(// Reply Bit they are the same car…..why bother? Reply They could have at least used a scrap beetle I mean that thing was mint Reply Poor Beetle…. Reply Hammond looks great in a flat cap. Change my mind Reply People wanting attention after watching this video : "HMM.. I'll post a comment saying "this made me cry, why destroy a classic beetle?" Reply Poor beetle 🙁 Reply Everybody gangsta until the Beetle does a wheelie and wins agains the Porsche Turbo Reply Sad Reply Not to brag but i have a vw beetle which is faster than that one Reply Love top gear, but hate seeing you guys destroying vehicles… The Lancia destruction was terrible too…. There must be other ways of having interesting fun… Reply time to revisit this challenge in 2021 Reply the comment section is full of beetle fans Reply Didn’t know there were actual fans of the dreadful beetle, I’m convinced they are all bots by chinease hackers Reply So… what's with all the people who love Beetles here? Reply imagine if hammond failed to launch.. hammond : "uhh… we need a nother beetle" Reply The beetle broke so hard that it also broke my heart Reply VW Vs VW Reply Nazi is dead Reply It crushed my heart to see the Beetle get destroyed Reply It really hurts seeing the bug get destroyed like that…… Reply They made like 15 million beetles an people are still freaking out Reply Nice way to watse money And make car lovers angry Reply 20 million of these were made destroying one isn’t a problem at all Reply Great the Beetle looks like a Horch Super Cabriolet and all I did was computer this thing to come back to production again. Make use of fire and use of steel. How about come on have a look for yourself. 7:00. Reply Um i could of had that beetle Reply There a loz of people calling TopGear the cult of antichrists and i 100% agree now Reply These guys have a pathlological hatred of the Beetle because of its' origins. When I was a kid, there were beetles every where. None of them were built in the Nazi era and no one associated them with anything political. They were just a neat little car. Henry Ford was not a nice human being but we don't criticize all Fords because of it. Leave the Bug alone and appreciate it for the icon of its time. It is the most recognizable little car of its' or possibly any time. Reply Haha it's so slow Reply Definition of stupidity. That beetle worth 1000 more than the Porsche Reply Top Idiots Reply Surprised they made no mention of the VW Corrado ad that is almost exactly this. I wonder if that ad is where the producers got the inspiration from. Reply Shame on you Hammond for wrecking a car this nice 🙁 Reply WHY DIDNT YOU JUST PUT A MINI COOPER ENGINE IN IT……. crying vw fan noises Reply Today u dont have to be rich to own a porsche. U have to be rich to own a beetle. Reply Why would you destroy a working condition classic car ? Reply LEAVE YOUR COMMENT Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
