That car, my wild friend was a kit car from back in the 90's. I used to read Kitcar magazine drooling over Cobra kits, fiero-Ferrai rebodies etc. This car was a monster back in the day.
Currently cross-shopping between this and a 2006 Citroen Picasso 1.6 16valve. Very useful to get an in-depth look so I can make my decision a litter better.
First thing you notice when you open the door is the phone First thing I noticed was the wheel but OK Doug. You live in your own world there and keep buying 3 dollar t-shirts we don't really care what you say.
Being from SoFla; I'd see these on the road or at events on occasion. We'd drive by the headquarters building regularly and my dad would romanticize about the start up little guy story about these. But as Doug infers, it was very expensive cheaply made car.
It looks like a 'kit car' from the 1980s… You know… When people would make a 'home-made' Ferrari Testarossa or Lamborghini Countach from a mail order 'kit'. They never looked right. They always ended up looking just like…. THIS!
the pedals are from vw beetles 😀 they are just upside down
10:33 heh yugo fiat golf 😀
the golf mk1 is lighter and more powerful and prettier and also a sleeper
It looks like if the Soviet Union attempted to make a supercar.
It’s not a failed supercar, it’s cute and unique
I know all about these cars. Love it! Which it wasn't a failure
Does the windcreen come from a Saab 900..?
That's the worst stance I've ever seen

I bet it is similar to the Eagle Talon tsi of the era. I had one back in the day and what an awesome little underrated car it was i
Ah, this is the 4 banger turbo one, they had one with a vette engine in it, back in the 90's. It was called the "Hammerhead" it was bad to the bone!

I like it.. the interior reminds me a TON of airplanes. dashs and air vent and guages. So cool.
So basically this is the sports car we all used draw when we were kids
It's the Ferrari Edsel.
Interesting thing about this car is that nobody has ever been on coke while driving one
Something off about it I could not understand what.
another video game car review
2.2L is also from the Dodge Sundance and Aries K car 😀
It’s like a Coutach after decades of plastic surgery addiction destroyed its face.

Wow!
This car looks weird, but sounds amazing!
Very experimental!
an american lotus
I kept trying to remove the hair at the top of the screen above Doug’s head.
Low key i think children could design a better car. These men were drunk. The damn engine is backwards. That’s hilarious.
OMG it's so ugly!
Doesn't look any worse than the Bugatti of the same era. Most of those low production 80s and 90s supercars looks didn't age well.
cool car, never heard of it!
I don't know what it is, but I'm into it. I love the eccentricity, and I wouldn't worry about running up the miles, so I'd drive it all the time.
Hideousness in red.
doug made a poor review on lexus ls400
Great visibility.
Great engine bay access.
A driver-friendly kitcar.
Unlike most of similar ones, that looked better than they were.
I have a picture of me at the age of 6 in 1992 next to a race version of this car at Lime Rock race track

Its like home made fries. Not perfectly shaped but does the job.
If winnebago made a supercar

It looks like a le mans car build for the normal roads…
Chrysler 4-cylinder LMAO
A E S T H E T I C
Quentin Tarantino be like, "that guy looks funny"
It's mostly the wheels and the fitment if the wheels that make it look terrible
It looks like a lego car
