0:55 Quite funny Toyota added the hopping rpm's with the 200 series. So they must be aware of the problem??? As many 200 series owners know, at a steady 100 km/h, the torque converter on the 200 series just wouldn't lock up (with all the wear, tear and heat in the transmission as a consequence).
Make an electric car Toyota, my Etios is 11 yr old and still running absolutely fine but I need a new car now and we always buy japanese, Toyota preferably
I hope (and expect) this transmission will be used in the new Tundra as well. This paired with the twin turbo V6 should produce ample power/torque while dramatically improving fuel economy over the outgoing Tundra. I almost purchased a 2021 Tundra, but I'm glad I decided to wait!
A more powerful engine and better gearbox. The new Lancruiser will be able to tow heavy loads much better than the old outdated dinasour that is the old one! Values of the old one will tumble now.
To BarnStangza. I have been driving 4wds since 1966 I have owned and driven every 4wheelers and destroyed more than you have had birthdays and if I had 4 pages here to explain why Toyota’s are crap I would .Just wait until the 2022 defender v8 comes out rollover land cruiser.
Aisin has perfected the transmission to an art. JATCO is another one. VW and BMW's use them as standard now.
So be 8
What is the toruqe of this 10 speed transmisson from aisin
I’m rather confused here. Is this transmission the same as Direct Shift CVT?
Finally, Land Cruiser still using traditional Automatic Transmission rather than CVT
I’ll pass thanks. Just another gearbox that will continue to hunt for the optimal optional gear. The last of the best ended in 2015.
Totally pointless having 10 speeds when you have 700nm of torque over such a wide range from the engine.
A complex transmission for no reason.

oh no…
stop watch at 025…
not good vehicle
круто хоть и нихуя не понятно епта
copy and paste.
Ford and Chevy both using 10 speed autos. Great job joining the party late Toyota.
nothing new to see here just more ratios
Rubbish transmission. Constantly hunting through gears to maintain speed is very annoying. And not very reliable.
trying to make adds like the Germans "sorry fellas but you are not Arian brothers"
Wow

Toyota torque converters have poor service record.

what BGM is this??
i like it
LONG LASTING AISIN TRANS
I ❤️ Manual
Landcruisers are the biggest pile of junk Landrovers are the best
Can you do electric version please? Thanks!
16 ступеней и можно понижайку не ставить.
Still doesnt justify the crappiness of 10 damn gears…..why would u need so many at all?
Toyota we want this coupled to a V6 twin turbo in the new 4runner, Tacoma and Tundra. This is what the US market wants.
Can we get plug in hybrid or hybrid version?
WHERE IS THE NEW 4RUNNER? WILL THESE SUVS BE GETTING ELECTRIC OPTIONS EVENTUALLY?
Is this the same ZF ten speed or different?.
